Every dispute goes through up to 4 tiers of review.
You always have the right to appeal.
Disputes escalate through increasingly thorough levels of review. Most are resolved at Tier 0.
Instant first review. Cost: zero.
An impartial AI evaluates the task context, the result, and the complaint. It issues a ruling in seconds with clear reasoning. Either party can appeal.
3 verified patxers vote independently.
Three experienced, verified patxers review the case materials anonymously. Each casts an independent vote with written reasoning. Majority rules.
Expert with full case history.
A domain specialist reviews the full escalation chain including AI ruling, jury votes, and all evidence. Reserved for complex or high-value cases.
Final, binding decision by patxin.
The patxin team reviews the entire escalation history and makes a final, binding decision. This is the last resort and rarely reached.
You always have the right to appeal. At every tier. If the AI rules against you, appeal to a jury of your peers. If the jury ties, the case goes to the board. Your work is protected by multiple layers of independent review.
Jury duty is compensated. If you're selected as a juror, you earn €2 per case reviewed.
Disputes under €5 with a low rating are auto-resolved with a 50% credit refund — no process needed. Larger disputes get the full 4-tier review, starting with instant AI triage. You can also appeal if you disagree with any ruling.
We use patxin to run patxin. The same human-in-the-loop service we sell is the one that protects you. Jury duty is a micro-task. Our own system resolves its own disputes.
Most platforms resolve disputes behind closed doors. We built a system where the community participates in the process. AI handles the obvious cases. Humans handle the rest. Transparency at every step.
Tier 0 (AI) is instant. Most disputes are resolved here. If appealed to a jury (Tier 1), it typically takes a few hours to a day for all jurors to vote. Board review (Tier 3) takes 1-3 business days.
Yes. Every tier provides written reasoning. The AI explains its logic. Jurors write individual reasoning with their votes. Board decisions include detailed notes. Full transparency.
Yes. Jurors see the case materials but not each other's identities. The disputant patxer and company see the vote counts and reasoning, but not which juror voted which way.
If fewer than 3 eligible jurors are available, the case automatically skips to board review (Tier 3). As the patxer community grows, this becomes increasingly rare.
Yes. Each juror receives €2 for reviewing a case and casting their vote. Jury duty is a regular micro-task — the same system you already use.
Nobody. The dispute process is free for both parties. Juror compensation is covered by patxin as a platform cost. We believe fair dispute resolution shouldn't have a price barrier.
